While Jesus was still speaking, some men came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue ruler. "Your daughter is dead," they said. "Why bother the teacher any more?" (ark 5:35, NIV)
Your spouse is no longer willing to work on your marriage. You might as well just look for an attorney.
You've tried praying and reading the Bible, but you just can't shake the depression. You might as well end it all.
You've gone to a support group, been in rehab, and you still can't shake that addiction. Might as well just quit fighting.
You've sought counseling and prayed, but you still have those desires for illicit sexual activity.
Why not just live that lifestyle? After all, it seems to be an inescapable part of who you are.
But let's read the next verse: Ignoring what they said, Jesus told the synagogue ruler, "Don't be afraid; just believe." And just a few verses later, Jesus steps into the middle of a hopeless, impossible situation and restores hope by showing that all things are possible with God.
Don't give up. Keep plugging away and doing your part. Don't be afraid; just believe. You'll be surprised at how the impossible becomes possible when Jesus steps into the room.

¿Por qué seguir? No hay esperanza.
Todavía estaba hablando Jesús, cuando llegaron unos hombres de la casa de Jairo, jefe de la sinagoga, para decirle: —Tu hija ha muerto. ¿Para qué sigues molestando al Maestro? (Marcos 5:35, NVI)
Tu conyugue ya no está dispuesto(a) a trabajar para que funcione el matrimonio. Mejor buscarte un abogado.
Has orado y leido la biblia, pero no puedes deshacerte de esa depresión. ¿Por qué no terminarlo todo?
Has asistido a un grupop de apoyo, has estado en rehabilitación, y todavía no puedes escapar de la adicción. Más vale rendirte.
Has buscado consejo y orado, pero no se te quitan esos deseos sexuales. ¿Por qué no aceptarlo y vivir ese estilo de vida? Después de todo, para ser parte de como fuiste creado.
Pero leiamos el siguiente verso: Sin hacer caso de la noticia, Jesús le dijo al jefe de la sinagoga: —No tengas miedo; cree nada más. Y unos cuantos versos después, Jesús entra en medio de una situación imposible y sin esperanza, y restaura le esperanza demostrando que todo es posible con Dios.
No te rindas. Sigue esforzándote y poniendo de tu parte. No tengas miedo; cree nada más. Te sorprenderás como lo imposible se vuelve posible cuando Jesús entra en el cuarto.
